Performance Division
We welcome this section that will share with you the opportunities that are available to display your talents and gifts to the world.
- Performing at Annual Board Meeting of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc. that will be held in Las Vegas, NV on March 10-13, 2009. If you and your choir or group would like to perform at nightly music during this week of events, you need to contact us immediately. The following are the requirements. 1. You must be registered as a local member of the Chapter and be in good standing. 2. You must submit a written request to us with the name of your choir or group and the number of people that will be performing. 3. We will prepare a letter of good standing and e-mail to you for your submission to the Performance Division of the GMWA. Local and National Registration Forms can be found at our Forms Center. - Submission of music to the GMWA to be considered for the National Recording to be held in Cincinnati, OH during the week of July 24th through 30th. The deadline for submission of the music is March 15, 2010. Please visit our Perfomance Division Website for details or download this Submission Form.
- Performance at the Annual Convention of the GMWA to be held July 24th through 30th at the Nightly Musical. This year the convention will be held in Cincinnati, OH. The Atlanta Chapter can only register a total of three artist that may perform this week. We will select those artist on a first come, first serve basis. Soloists are not allowed to perform at Nightly Musicals. The requirements are:
- You and your group or choir must be registered members of the Atlanta Chapter of the GMWA, Inc. In order to perform at convention, all members including band members must be registered either as a full delegate or with a one day pass in order to perform on stage. No one is allowed on stage without a badge. Local and National Registration Forms can be found at our Forms Center.
- You must provide us a document with the name of your choir or group, the name of each individual at present, and your contact information.
- You should indicate on which night of the convention you would like to perform.
- You must be willing to adhere to the dress code and rules of the GMWA, Inc.
- You must provide a performance fee of $75.00 in certified funds to us prior to our going the the Board Meeting which is held March 8-11. You must submit appropriate documentation and mail or bring to us during any scheduled rehearsals or events.. If you have questions, please call 678-916-7083.
